ProSafe Locksmiths began with a clear purpose: to bring honest, reliable locksmithing to the local community — without the upselling, inflated prices or poor communication that many had grown frustrated with.
Founded by Karina Rathbone, the business started life with Rathbone Locksmiths Limited before rebranding to ProSafe in line with its growing reputation and client base. Karina’s vision was always about more than just fixing locks; it was about helping people feel safe again, often at their most vulnerable.
Since 2021, we’ve gone from a small start-up to a trusted name in Reading. We’ve passed all relevant warrant training, built lasting relationships with British Gas, EDF, EON, and the Thames Valley Police, and developed a strong local following through word-of-mouth and consistent service.
But through all this growth, one thing has never changed: our commitment to the customer.
